Abdominal Pain and Bloating
- If constant, recurrent, or has not improved with treatment.
Gas
- If you have tried a change in diet.
- If over the counter remedies (Gas-X, Bean-O, etc) have no effect.
Unusual Change in Bowel Movement
- Normal bowel movements range from 3 per day to 2-3 per week.
Anal Itching
- Not improved with topical therapy.
- Generally due to under or over aggressive cleansing.
Painful Bowel Movements
- If associated with tissue protrusion, blood, or abnormal masses.
